Back on the Track to Lower Crackpot

Day 3: 16 February 2019

Today we were back on the track, the first day since our pilgrimage was interrupted by Tim’s cardiac arrest. We had been at the intersection of West Kentish Road on that day and turned left to head to Mount Roland. Today we turned right to walk through the township of Roland and on to Tasmazia.

Approaching Roland

A couple of kilometres short of Roland our route took us past our favourite free range egg producer, Mount Roland Eggs. After coming across a couple of escapee chickens we were enthusiastically warned away by two Marrema guard dogs. They were secure within the chicken paddocks but ensured that we remained safely outside. Farmer Phil was soon on his quad bike to check out the ruckus. He had only put the dogs in this paddock earlier today and was wanting to find out what was going on. We had a good old country lane chat a while and then headed on to the township of Roland and Tasmazia.
